Our Sky Rise Swimwear Bottoms are a high waisted cut. They will go all the way to the natural waist, much like our Sky Rise style Thundies, with the same no-wedgies fit around the bum. These run a smidge big compared to our underwear, so if you’re in-between sizes, size down.

 

From fishing nets to sustainable swimwear! 

Made with Econyl® regenerated nylon yarn made from nylon waste like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic.

Fit

  • Sizes SM - 3XL
  • Designed with a high waisted cut, going all the way to the natural waist, much like our Sky Rise style underwear
  • Same no-wedgie fit around the bum
  • Smaller binding than our underwear
  • These run a smidge big compared to our underwear, so if you’re in-between sizes, size down

Fabric

From fishing nets to rad, sustainable swimwear!

  • 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon / 22% xtra life lycra
  • ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic
  • There is spandex component to the fabric as the swimwear needs the help of a bit of elastic to avoid any swimwear malfunctions when plunging in, other wise they are just as comfy as your undies

Care

To preserve the life of the fabric:

  • Rinse your swimwear in fresh water after use
  • Do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants swimwear items
  • Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry on a line, not in the drier

not great coverage for my body, pt. 2

i bought a top as well and reviewed that, and I think maybe I just need to look into custom swimwear options moving forward. it's great in theory...I guess my butt is bigger than they figured when fit testing vs. my waist; I went with the small bc the medium kept rolling down and was too big in the waist but of course everything seemed fine when I tried them on until I get to the pool and my *** devoured them. not a full ****** which was good, but was really hoping the bottoms would stay in place as this was the suit I bought to take swim lessons with my toddler...so maybe not a good move if you have my measurements (30" waist, 42" hip).

Awesome bottoms!!

These are my favorite swim bottoms I’ve ever owned. They are full coverage, comfortable and durable. I love them and I tell everyone who complains about skimpy bathing suit bottoms and wedgies to give these a try!

Best Swim Bottoms

These are amazing! I love the high rise. Wore them on a beach vacation and got so many compliments. Fit is lovely, secure and very comfortable.

Best Swim Bottoms for Coverage

I haven’t worn them in the pool yet, BUT I tried them on and I have never been so comfortable wearing a swim bottom in my life. There are no butt cheeks hanging out and giving me a not-wanted thong look PLUS there isn’t a weird cut out in front to show the lady bits. THANK YOU.
