These are SALE Swimwear Original Bottoms due to manufacturing error:

These bottoms were sewn without elastic in the waist. They still stay in place and are perfect to wear, but just aren't quite as secure. 

 

Our Original Swimwear Bottoms fit very similar to our Original style underwear with the same no-wedgies fit around the bum. The swim fabric isn't as stretchy as our organic cotton, so they may feel a little lower in the rise than the Originals. Made with Econyl recycled nylon/lycra (made from recycled fishing net and other plastic waste!) and sewn right here in Oregon!

 

If any of our sale products have an issue that after one wear or wash causes the item to not be wearable any longer (hole or tear), please let us know right away and we will replace them for you.

Fit

  • Sizes SM - 3XL
  • Fit very similar to our Original style underwear with the same no-wedgie fit around the bum
  • The Swim fabric isn’t as stretchy as our Organic Cotton, so they may feel a little lower in the rise than the Originals, hitting just below your belly button on most people
  • Smaller binding than our underwear
  • These run a smidge big compared to our underwear, so if you’er in-between sizes, size down

Fabric

From fishing nets to rad, sustainable swimwear!

  • 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon / 22% xtra life lycra
  • ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic
  • There is spandex component to the fabric as the swimwear needs the help of a bit of elastic to avoid any swimwear malfunctions when plunging in, other wise they are just as comfy as your undies

Care

To preserve the life of the fabric:

  • Rinse your swimwear in fresh water after use
  • Do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants swimwear items
  • Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry on a line, not in the drier
