What is it about black and white stripes?! So flattering and so... sophisticated? classic? Parisian? All of the above? All we know is they are always a favorite.

Fit

  • Sizes SM - 3XL
  • Made wit the same signature Organic Cotton / Spandex as our undies
  • These fit like your typical tight leggings with a 4” wide double lined waistband that sits high on the waist
  • Designed to be worn on the daily under dresses or lounging around the house
  • Can be used for working out and doing yoga, but the material might feel thinner than a traditional legging  (depending on the brand) so comfort levels may vary.
  • Ankle Legging inseam measure from 28” (SM) - 28.5” (3XL)

Fabric

90% Organic Cotton / 10% Spandex

  • Sturdy fabric, very stretchy, and has great retention to give our garments just enough stretch and bounce back
  • Undies stay up, keeping their shape without sagging or bagging
  • Same soft organic cotton blend is used to cut our binding into wide strips instead of using elastic so there is never any irritating elastic against your skin
  • All garments are made locally and lovingly in Portland, OR

Care

To preserve the vibrant colors and life of the fabric:

  • Do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items
  • Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line (they will survive drying on low, but may fade a bit and cut down slightly in longevity)
  • If you do wash warm or dry, make sure not to use too much heat as heat will break down the spandex in the fabric

Love these leggings, especially the black and white stripes! According to the size chart I should have ordered a size L but instead I ordered one size up, an XL, and I’m so glad I did. I like my leggings a little looser. I’m 5’1, apple-shaped, and these leggings hit right at my lower ankle. They’re a perfect fit for me.

Nice but thin material

For my tastes too thin to wear as a putter layer but perfect as as base or Uber a skirt or as pajamas. LOVE the print.

Soft leggings, delightful company

I love my leggings: they're super soft, thick enough to feel decent in, and they stay put. I had a small problem with my order, but it was remedied really quickly!

Good leggings, nice feel

I got two pairs of these - One in the hey meow print and one in the extra long length vanilla. I got size small as recommended by customer service, which was a good choice! I wear a size 6-8 in pants from other brands and usually do a medium, but a medium in these would have been too loose. What's odd is that the vanilla pair fit more tight (but not in a bad way, just more secure in the waist), while the hey meow pair are like a ***** feel on my skin. They aren't loose by any means, however they sit comfortably without any feeling on my waist whatsoever. I do wish there was more consistency with sizing, but otherwise I do like both pairs. Oh ps vanilla is very transparent - I recommend **** underwear, and hey meow is transparent in the white areas, so you will need **** underwear there too.

I think you may have ordered a size too big, because they do have 10% elastane content - which is high enough to keep them from sagging. If they feel saggy when you first put them on they are definitely too big. Cotton will typically ease a little more than synthetic because it is a natural fabric, but they shouldn't be sagging.
