We’re going back to our roots with this one! We had one of our favorite illustrators rework one of her most popular prints. It’s a Thunderpants classic that you can really sink your teeth into. Root Veggies by Greta Menzies is back and we think you’re really going to dig it.

Fit

  • Sizes SM - 3XL
  • Made for the same Organic Cotton / Spandex as our underwear
  • Features a wider strap to cover a bra
  • Cut higher through the underarm and slightly wider through the hips fora snug yet modest fit
  • Can be worn on it’s own or as a layering piece, and is great for lounging or wearing to bed
  • Size down for a snugger secure fit, or up for a looser more loungewear feel (but don’t size up too much as it will get too big in the arm hole)
  • Measuring from shoulder to he hem the approximate lengths are as follows: SM: 23.5in, MED: 24.5in, LG: 25in, XL: 26in, 2XL: 26.5in

Fabric

90% Organic Cotton / 10% Spandex

  • Sturdy fabric, very stretchy, and has great retention to give our garments just enough stretch and bounce back
  • Undies stay up, keeping their shape without sagging or bagging
  • Same soft organic cotton blend is used to cut our binding into wide strips instead of using elastic so there is never any irritating elastic against your skin
  • All garments are made locally and lovingly in Portland, OR

Care

To preserve the vibrant colors and life of the fabric:

  • Do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items
  • Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line (they will survive drying on low, but may fade a bit and cut down slightly in longevity)
  • If you do wash warm or dry, make sure not to use too much heat as heat will break down the spandex in the fabric

Fabulous black cami

I bought this cami to wear under a light cotton tunic. It is comfy, fits great and I feel pretty in the outfit. How can you get any better? I love the fabric!

It's the people

I love your brand for a few reasons. My wife loves you, which makes shopping easy. Your clothes are fun, funky, and extremely durable/long-lasting, all of which is awesome. Excellent! Love the colors and pattern. Fun that panel pants I bought afterwards had panels with the Under the Sea pattern as well.

Plain vanilla camis are great

I recently bought a cami plain vanilla to dye as an underlay for a sweater that is somewhat see- through. It dyed up beautifully in a seafoam Procyon cold water dye and provides comfortable support and coverage. I love the plain vanilla thunder pants as I can dye them with Procyon dyes in a low-immersion process. Very Fun!

Cami Root Veggies Size Guide

Constructed with our signature blend of Organic Cotton/Spandex fabric, our Bras and Cami are designed for the same easy comfort as our undies. 

The Bralette is a lower profile simple bra. It has a piece of elastic sewn in the binding below the bust for extra support. The single layer of fabric is very stretchy, so use the underbust measurements and the cup will stretch over your bust. If you get it too big the neckline can get too low, so if you feel like you’re in between sizes you may want to size down. It’s pretty true to size, but you can always email us with your measurements if you are unsure which size to order: info@thunderpantsusa.com.

The Longline Bra is a fuller coverage bra with a double layer of fabric in the front for extra support. These run true to size, and the fabric will stretch to accommodate a larger bust. You can size down for a little extra compression, but there is a piece of elastic rolled into the bottom hem and that could start to feel a little tight if you size down too far. They will ease as you wear them if it feels a bit tight when you first try it on.

The Cami is very stretchy and without a single piece of elastic in sight, can be ordered along fit preference. It has a wider strap to cover a bra, and is cut higher through the underarm and slightly wider through the hips for a snug yet modest fit. If you want it to fit snug and add a little compression, you may want to size down.
