Sky Rise Creamsicle

$ 28.00
Select my color — Creamsicle

Made in USA

Organic Cotton

Wedgie-Proof

A delectable combination of Orange Sherbet and Oregon Sunstone.

Fit models (in Vanilla):

Caitlin is wearing a size MED Sky Rise: 5'5" tall, 34" bust, 30" waist, 40" hips

Breana is wearing a size 2XL Sky Rise: 5'4" tall, 46” bust, 37” waist, 53” hips

The Sky Rise are our high waisted style. In sizes SM - 4XL, this ultra comfortable full brief sits in the natural crease at the top of the leg and reaches all the way to your natural waist. They taper in at the top, so will sit and stay right at the waist all day long. Perfect for those who are looking for an extra high wedgie-proof undie.

Thunderpants 90% organic cotton/10% spandex fabric is sturdy, very stretchy, and has great retention to give our garments just enough stretch and bounce back. It helps the undies to stay up and on, and the other garments to keep their shape without sagging or bagging. We use the same soft organic cotton blend to cut our binding into a wide strip instead of using elastic so there is never any irritating elastic against your skin. All the garments are made locally and lovingly in Portland, OR.

To preserve the vibrant colors and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line (they will survive drying on low, but may fade a bit and cut down slightly on longevity). If you do wash warm or dry, make sure not to use too much heat as heat will break down the spandex!

Where have you been all my life?!

Underwear that I forget about. No picking it out of my butt when I stand up for hymns in church on the live stream. Thank you for the most splendid underwear money can buy! This underwear is worth every penny! I love it!!!

Love them

I loved your briefs and now I REALLY love the Sky Rise style. My ONLY request — if there were more designs that were not so whimsical, I would buy them. I get that that’s your brand, but if there were some with gentler patterns and not just plain vanilla or black, I would buy them. Thanks! Annette

These work for guys too!

I wear the 4XL Sky Rise. They are my favorite underwear. Super soft and comfortable, yet form-fitting and stay in place. The crotch is wider than some men's briefs I've recently worn; they fit me like a glove. If you're a guy who doesn't need or want underwear with a fly front, give these a try. The color and print choices are great; there is something for everyone. Last, but not least, they're made locally here in Portland, Oregon, so my money supports local jobs.

So worth it!

Like most mass-manufactured garments, I found Thunderpants because every other sort of underwear has gone downhill since fast fashion's arrival in the early 1990s. I'm old enough to remember Jockey and Fruit of the Loom and Hanes underwear lasting for literal decades. No more. The fabric has gotten thinner and thinner, the elastic cheaper and worse, and synthetic fibers (so, so gross and stinky) are blended in. It's bad enough that I considered sewing my own underwear, since I sew. But, since what's true of underwear is true of just about everything, I'm already making just about everything I wear, and something's got to give. I found Thunderpants and admit that I winced at the prices for about 20 seconds. Then I thought, "What would I want to pay myself to sew this? To find and adapt a base pattern, to fit and test fit and tailor it, to cut all of my scrap fabric, and sew it nicely on the serger?" And my price per pair was higher than what Thunderpants is charging, so the decision was obvious. I now have nine pairs to start and will buy more as needed. The fabric is top quality and they are SO well made. I particularly like this high-waisted cut for high-waisted jeans and to add another "smoothing layer" under tunics.
